I was the creative lead for this design and marketing company working with SMEs throughout Essex.

I was responsible for all the design output and creative direction of the company and took on many additional roles including copywriting, artwork, print production, and occasional photography. The work was varied including branding, brochures, annual reports, advertising, direct mail, event materials and website design.

During my time at Garda, I helped shape and grow the business, establishing a reputation for the agency for creativity, combined with a winning business strategy. A highly successful marketing strategy helped bring in more than 60 new clients for Garda. Many have formed a lasting relationship, continuing to return for all their design and marketing year after year.

I worked as lead creative, responsible for overseeing and mentoring a team of designers. This included taking projects from initial briefing, through concept development, to artwork and production. It also involved taking on project manager role to ensure the smooth running and profitability of jobs.

Medicus International logo

Junior to mid-weight designer

Working alongside a copywriter as the junior designer, I gained extensive experience in advertising, marketing, and product branding and worked my way up to the position of mid-weight designer. I learned the value of powerful copy and the discipline and sense of humor required to meet tight deadlines. Skills that I have taken with me throughout my career.

Moving on to the marketing division of the company, I created branding, sales and event marketing material for many global drug companies.
